This five-day trek is a great opportunity to discover remote villages and dramatic landscapes of Ladakh. There are two long and difficult days when crossing the passes on that itineary. The highlights include the gompas at Lamayuru, Sumda Choon and Alchi. This trek is an alternative to the Lamayuru to Alchi trek via Tar La.
Day 2: Wanla – Hinju

Day 4: Sumda Chenmo – Sumda Choon

Day 5: Sumda Choon – Stakspi La – Alchi

– | from the village follow the trail leading to the base of the Stakpi La and then there is a steep ascent to the pass from where you will have a great view of the mountains and Ladakh range |

Getting to / from the trek
